Sunday, Food Prep Day

Round #2 of Whole30 is coming to an end. Tuesday the 20th is the last full day, and our final weigh in is Wednesday morning 03/21/18. Despite the second round ending we did our grocery shopping as usual since Whole30 has forever changed the way we look at food (and shop for/consume it!). Rich and I have a mini-vacation planned for the end of this week: we will be taking Thursday off for a day trip to "western" Massachusetts and then going to Portland, Maine, Friday through Sunday. With that that being said, we have a refrigerator full of food and Thursday we'll still be cooking at home for all three meals.

Since it is business as usual regardless of this round ending soon, I used up some more things from the freezer (ground turkey) and purchased some fresh peppers and guacamole so I can have my "nachos" for lunch this week. As always, I have my pork belly and avocado for breakfast (not pictured). Spicy Italian Chicken Sausage for dinner (not pictured).
