Some More Food Prep
Whole30 is all about the food prep. The more you can prepare some foods in advance the better your chances of not giving in to temptation/hunger/etc.
BREAKFAST
I totally forgot I already had these andouille sausages in the refrigerator. Until we do our big grocery trip this weekend these will make a great breakfast for the rest of this week. We found these Whole30 compliant sausages at Wegmans (they taste kind of like chorizo).
SNACKS
I don't usually eat a ton of fruit on Whole30 but it does make a good snack when you're in a pinch/starving for your next meal (which, if you're doing Whole30 right, shouldn't happen). I decided to cut up some fresh strawberries and keep them in snack containers in my fridge at work to help me as my body adjusts to this new lifestyle.
STORAGE
Storage containers, Tupperware containers, etc., are very important on Whole30 and food prep in general. Find what works for you but I recently purchased these microwave safe containers as I know I'll be making a lot of soups/stews this winter from my new Whole30 Slow Cooker cookbook. What I love most about these containers is that the lid contains a release button so while you're microwaving you can open the button so steam can come out and prevent the top from exploding off the container.
